Speed Run 4:26

Tom Votava:
Here we go again! Just when I thought I was burned out on this game, I managed to pull it together and make some improvements. This run is 10 minutes faster than my previous effort. It contains roughly the same route, with some improved and/or more dangerous strategies. 4:26 is as close to perfect as I'm willing to go for now. I calculated roughly 2 minutes of major mistakes (detailed below), so I could theoretically get sub-4:25 with exactly the same approach. However, it's more likely that I'll be able to make up the same couple of minutes by improving the route again, so I'll wait until I do that before attempting to go farther this.

Many thanks, I need to load the parts in many segments so one segment is perfect.

I liked the hole thing but the thing about all the speed things is they dont let you read wat some people are saying. But otherwise it was fine!

[10] Mr.E
I think the boss in fungi forest flipped Chunky the bird but the flames covered it.

Thats nice but if you want to make a speed run to do it faster ,the best way is to instead of collecting bannana's for that guy that block entrances is to use lankey's arm attack ,it actually touches it and you can go through him but in hidout helm you need the banana's brcause the entrance is a door but it is fun to do it but other than that your movie is AWSOME.

I love the small monkey the best personally. When he jams on that electric quitar it rocks. Love the graphics so far. I also love the potions as so far I'm getting a big laugh out of them. The boss gates are funny as well. I wish I had Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 as it looks like the graphics rocked on all games. I have an original NES system that I got like in 1985 or so. I also have an original Sega Genisis. I beat several games on Sega Gensis like Vector Man, Sonic and a couple others. I found this site because I was surfing and I saw it advertised on You Tube. Makes me want to fire up the old NES (if it still works) and the old Sega Genisis. Keep up the good work as I may be 24 but I feel like I'm in my teens sitting at my friend's house or sitting with my brother watching him play video games. The girl monkey is annoying.. I relate to Donkey Kong playing the bongos. I have a set of bongo drums that I play when my brother plays the guitar. Anyway, the run is good so far. Abbs from Spring Tx

In terms of levels I really like the forest level because to me it is quite calming to hear the music, birds, and owls at night. Kinda reminds me of where I live here in Woodlands Tx. BTW, I swear that Donley Kong was gonna get some from Candy! ;) Out of all the instruments I think chunky got screwed with a dinner bell. I was thinking he'd get like a chello or something. The annoying monkey although she is a pain in the ears does get a nice sax. Diddy has the best instrument, Donkey Kong has the second best instrument, Tiny has a good sax, and whatever Lanky gets is either next or somewhere else and I hate to say it for Chunky but.. He is last with the dinner bell. Abbs The Woodlands TX (Spring area)

is it just me or do the monkeys look a lot like black people hmmm was rare racist????

[12] Anonymius
wath is the hardest thing in the game???

[13] Crazy Lou
  Ooh... bah-nah-naa...

[14] fish hater
how did you kill the fish that easily?

[15] AJT
Very good, but I was wondering why you needed all 100 bananas to get past B. Locker at Hideout Helm. Couldn't you use the bananaporter to get lanky and then use the same arm strecth move to get by?
