Kid Icarus

Nintendo Entertainment System - 1987

Playthrough (Part 6 of 6)

NotEntirelySure:

A successful run of Kid Icarus. The game isn't as tough as some think, it just takes a little knowledge and practice. Getting all the strength upgrades is very helpful. Also, I used a nice trick for the treasure chamber that ensures you get the prize every time. I only died one time unintentionally in 2-2, and I killed my self several times for health. I also had to retry 2-2 numerous times to get the strength upgrade.

The eggplant wizards in the labyrinths are just downright mean. If you get hit by their attack, you have to find a curing station to be able to attack again. This is one of the most troublesome aspects of the game.

I used Windows Movie Maker to split up the video, but that resulted in some frame cutting. This makes some things invisible, most notably the final boss's attack.

As always, no slow down or save states are used.
