About as moving, exciting, and intellectually profound as it's cinematic counterpart, the Neverending Story II surprisingly managed to be a somewhat faithful tie-in to the film, for better or worse. The player controls Bastian and engages in key scenes from the film. The game featured some nice vivid graphics, some impressive effects (for the time), and good music, but was hampered by wonky controls and a fairly steep difficulty. Not great, not terrible...just meh.
