Space Harrier

This is the excellent Sega Saturn conversion of the arcade smash from 1985, Space Harrier. A part of the Sega Ages Vol.1 complilation released in 1996 and played by me. Space Harrier is as simple yet as fiendishly difficult as a game gets, it's a chase view shoot em up where you control a guy with a jetpack (The Space Harrier) in his quest to liberate the fantasy zone from all kinds of weird and wonderful alien things! the gameplay is fast, furious and requires sharp reflexes and a lot of fire button bashing! this is a game from a time when games really were games, and is hard as nails! The video is 30fps but the actual game is roughly 60fps (smooth as a baby two headed dragons butt!) Note - The reduced screen size is due to the software, this was made before 50hz Pal games were optimised to be full screen.
